MINISTRIES

Serving Gardner and the cosmos as Jesus' hands & feet

We know that Jesus came to serve the last, the least, the lost, and we consider it our ministry to do so, too. We take our mission work seriously at First Congregational Church, since we know that:

“Christ has no body but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which Christ looks
Compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which Christ walks to do good,
Yours are the hands, with which Christ blesses all the world.”

~St. Teresa of Avila

Our mission ministry comes in several parts: advocacy, education, and volunteer service. We have several local and global mission partners with whom we work in close relationship, not just writing checks but also, supporting the work of the agency by volunteering and engaging in real relationships with those served. In this work, our lives are changed for the better, and we find that we ourselves are more grateful, spiritually healthy people. To get involved, email us or fill out the interest form below.
